Fancy hairdresser shampoo doesn't actually clean my hair?

Does anyone else find this? It's the acidic bonding concentrate. I have to wash 3, even 4 times. My hairdresser is convinced it should only take 2 but not for me. Does anyone pre wash with something else?? I actually do like the condition it leaves my hair in.

Not that one, but I've started a pricy bottle of no sulfates, no parabens etc shampoo and I feel like I might as well not have bothered as my hair feels dirty afterwards

Back to the cheapo stuff for me

Redken?

I haven’t used this shampoo but that doesn’t sound right. Are you shampooing properly? Sorry if that sounds stupid or patronising, apparently a lot of people don’t really spend time massaging the scalp properly when they shampoo and that’s what shifts the debris at the roots and mid lengths.

I use bio d washing liquid instead, cheap as shampoo,no issues been doing for years

Mine looks greasy immediately after I wash it x

I'm finding this with a lot of shampoos, without the sulphates, I need to wash 3 times, twice used to be plenty.

Alightjacket · 23/04/2022 14:33

I reccomend Hask. It's sulphate & paraben free so not as 'foamy' as typical shampoos but my hair is never left feeling unclean afterwards. Been using it for years and I love it. It used to only be available at Superdrug but I think boots now sell it too.

I’ve just bought that Redken stuff - shampoo, conditioner and a leave in treatment as recommended by my hairdresser. Will use it later and report back

I mean maybe I'm not! I dunno! To be fair I focus more on trying to get it to distribute all over which is hard with no lather.

@Goldengoosey I do like it, my hair has clearly benefited from this set over others. I used to have SUCH tangled hair and now I can brush through it far more easily.
