New perfume........what are people loving at the moment?

I want to treat myself to a new perfume. I've made so many very costly perfume mistakes. The type of perfume I like is what I can only describe as a "powdery" sort of smell, sort of just out of the bath, talc and soap sort of smell. Just can't seem to find the one.

Any suggestions.........................

Thanks x

Annick Goutal's perfumes are gorgeous. Try Vanille Exquise or Grand Amour.

The top powdery smells are inner grace and pure grace by Philosophy - not expensive either

i don't like powdery but i bought both of the above for my girlfriends for Christmas and both scents are described as powdery

Estee lauder pleasures exotic - it's gorgeous.

Also like Ghost, be delicious and kenzo flowers.

Agree with Lauriefc re grace by Philosophy. I got some after I had dd and I would say it definitely matches your description of powdery.

For Christmas I got:
Daisy by Marc Jacobs, floral, light and nice
Unforgivable Woman, sexy and a bit masculine too
Bulgari Amethyste, unusual smell but quite powerful without being heavy

I'm like Sparkler - only just getting back into perfume again after pregnancy - my "baby" is 10!!!

I like Kenzo Flower and Stella McCartney's one but I'm currently wearing the Origins Ginger one that dp got me for Crimble - it's lovely but not at all the kind of thing you're after.

I seem to remember that Clinique do one that's a bit newborn baby-ish smelling (in a good way!) but I can't remember what it's called.
