Wedding guest dress that is comfortable and toddler proof!

I have three weddings coming up in the next few months - all with different groups of people so can wear the new dress to all of them. I want something that is comfortable, flattering, short to 3/4 sleeves (to cover the bingo wings) and be strong enough to withstand an excited toddler. I'm in my 40's, 5'2" and a size 12/14. My budget is tight - hit me with some ideas!

what body shape are you - pear, hourglass etc? When you say your budget is tight, how tight? Under £50, £50-£75, above £100 etc?

I have bought this dress twice now. First in mint green floral and this time the dark green floral. It's SO flattering on and the material is weighty so it hangs really well. It was from little wings factory and was £70.

I suppose I'm an hourglass figure, but after 2 children have a wobbly tum. Half sleeves are good bit was thinking something knee length as long dresses don't really suit me at 5'2"
