Which crossbody? Help me choose.

Help me decide between these three bags- for casual days out and things like pop concerts etc to go with jeans and stuff, I'm 49 and still fancy myself as a bit rock chick but I aren't really, more girl next door.

It's nice, but just not the look I was going for. Was looking for something black that zips up and looks a little edgy, was going for a sort of 'tough' looking style.

Is it silver hardware you’re looking for? Obviously this is not.

No1 is a handbag really with a long strap and probably wouldn't sit comfortably.

People never agree with your choices in mumsnet world. I had a similar thread about two dresses that I loved equally and my ask was “which dress?” and not “do you like these dresses?”. I had a lot of feedback on how shapeless my choice of dresses are and how they wouldn’t “show my figure”. So I bought both.
And I’ll go against the no logo chat and say that I love a logo in certain circumstances, mainly shoes and small bags. I’m not trying to “look expensive”, I just think the styling can be fun. So if the bags fit with your style buy the bags (one of the Marc jacobs ones mind) and have fun with it.

Oooh thank you @AssignedBlobbyAtBirth and @Thinkle, I was beginning to think I must be living in some paralell universe. The Zadig and Voltaire one comes in plain black too which might be better. DH and DD like that one best so was a bit surprised when everyone here hated it so strongly.

Rather small but can easily fit phone, purse keys etc. You can match it with different straps and it comes in loads of colours.

Not read the thread but I can highly recommend Aspinal - their bags are subtle and around the same price range as Marc Jacobs.

The A crossbody bags come in some divine colours as well as Black and Tan.

I like bags without obvious logos and this brand uses reclaimed parachute silk, fire hose leather & leather off cuts from luxury brands. So it's completely sustainable and eco friendly minimising waste.

I actually like the Zadig & Voltaire one but I think they have nicer options. Marc Jacobs are the new Michael Kors around here so I generally steer clear of them 😁

Other rock chick brands I can think of would be Vivienne Westwood, Valentino Garavani and maybe Pinko.

Oh and some of the Kurt Geiger bags would be quite edgy and cool.

I agree. They simultaneously manage to be both very bland and very tacky because of the logos.

The first one is particularly nasty. I don't like any of them. I wouldn't give any of them a second glance if I saw someone wearing them.
