Hi, I'm pretty low maintenance, but I could do with ideas please, recommendations on what actual bag to use( needs to fit under seat- 45cm x 36cm x 20cm ...low budget please!) and minimal wardrobe.
I'm thinking of wearing breton , cardigan, jeans , jacket with white trainers to travel in, and the only other footwear will be birkies.
What outfits would you take? Any packing / easy jet top tips?
thanks
Thanks in advance

Bumping for you.

Funnily enough I've just been researching this - although we're not away till September.

this bag comes up as recommended for EasyJet

Two T-shirt
knickers
socks
black trousers and causal top of evenings plus maybe a nice tip to wear with the jeans.
swimsuit
shorts if warm enough

should be perfect!

BIWI · 21/04/2022 17:30

You could have one that comes complete with teddy if you want Grin

Badlifeday · 21/04/2022 18:01

@BIWI that bag looks good, though the children's one is actually better as it has a handle to pull it with!
I'd hate to go back to carrying my bags instead of wheeling. I bought two small suitcases that were perfect for the old easyJet rules, very annoying!

BIWI · 21/04/2022 18:07

How about this one then?

AllMyExesWearRolexes · 21/04/2022 18:36

North Face Base Camp duffel size Small says it's aircraft friendly. Search the net, discounts can often be had.
Also, bright colours make them easy to spot on the carousel!

I've used a Le Pliage bag as a carry on for a few days away before. It fits perfectly underneath the seat.

What are you planning on doing whilst you're there? Lots of walking and exploring? Or more relaxing in cafes and nice restaurants type stuff? Or both?

Either way I'd keep it casual; a pair of faux leather leggings for evening wear and a couple of tops to go with them. For daytime you could wear the jeans you've travelled in and pack a pair of leggings too. I take my Sweaty Betty leggings with me whenever we go away.

I second a Le Pliage or similar bag for stuffing under the seat on a plane. For two nights I'd have two more tops that go with the jeans, a dress that works with the jacket, shorts or leggings. I wear a vest and shorts in bed.

Use a vacuum bag inside your case - then you can bring loads more clothes. I travel regularly and do this every time.

IN BLACK FROM EBAY
I am getting this one. I borrowed one and packed it for a week away and went to my local airport to check it fitted in gauge. It did!
then I had to cancel my trip due to Covid! Sad

@Trumpton does the handle pull up to a height an adult (woman) could walk with, do you know?

BIWI · 23/04/2022 17:14

@Badlifeday that's the one I posted a link to up thread. I guess how easy it would be to pull will depend on how tall you are. It does say that the backpack straps may not fit a very tall adult.

If you look at the photo here it shows the measurement from base to handle as 1 metre.

Badlifeday · 23/04/2022 17:21

Thank you BIWI that's useful. Now trying to decide which teddy I will put on the front!

Trumpton · 23/04/2022 17:57

@Badlifeday
i could pull it and I am 5ft 4ins
I must get one as we live on an island and I needs smaller bag than the ones we have.

Nadamar · 23/04/2022 18:09

I saw a post on social media where she used a neck pillow that unzipped and studded it with t shirts, she posted a video of her actually boarding the flight too.
