Are kids and adult Birkenstocks the same size?

I’m a 39, anyone know if the kids come up different? My hooves feet are pretty wide . . .

Do the kids go to 39? I'm at 38 and have never seen kids ones in my size.

Yes. I wear a 36 and have a black adult pair of Arizona’s and a kids’ pair in silver. Exactly the same size, I’m never buying adult ones again.

Where have you found them in size 39 for kids and priced lower I guess? I'm a size 4 and always thought kids stopped at 3 so buy adults.

Yep, same size. I've got ladies' and kids' Birks which are equally comfy. I buy a 37 in the normal width and a 38 in the narrow. Most of the children's ones are narrow width but the Birkenstock website tells you which it is.

I’m normally a four but have to size down in Birkenstocks.

Could someone link to kids size 38/5 please. The only 5s I can find are little kids 5 which is a 21.

@Thunderface have a look on the Birkenstock website for kids - I chose a silver pair of Arizonas. When it lets you select the size, choose EU sizes and you'll see them up to a 39. I have tried to do a link for you but the new Mumsnet website is being a git about it!

Make sure you get the right width. On the footbed the picture of the foot empty is regular, the picture coloured in is narrow. If you are buying online and it isn't specified they are often narrow.

They are not exactly the same. You will see that the bottoms are thicker on adults vs kids
