Did anyone watch this and if so can you remember what brand the blusher and highlighting foundation. Meant to write it down but forgot. The blusher was about £20.00 but I can't remember what make. The highlighter similar price I think.

Have tried the website but can't find the info there.

Thanks.

oh i cant remember the highlighter

stripeytiger · 08/01/2008 16:23

Thanks nailpolish, that's great. I think it was a highlighter, but could have been a foundation, basically it said that it illuminated the face, so not sure, sounded nice though.

mosschops30 · 08/01/2008 16:30

best highlighter is YSL Touche Eclat I love it, its like a facelift in a tube

nailpolish · 08/01/2008 16:32

the touche eclat is not like the one on the prog

it was a creamy white kind of stuff - a shimmer

touche eclat is diff

but on that theme i think the dior one is better than touche eclat

body shop have a good one of them too

mosschops30 · 08/01/2008 16:33

oh year thats right I remember the shimmer stuff sorry yeah different.

I disagree np YSL better

nailpolish · 08/01/2008 16:39

hav eyou ever tried the YSL mascara le cils or sommat

this

oh jesus its to die for

mosschops30 · 08/01/2008 16:42

no would love it though. I just spent £40 on bloody glittery eyeliner and foundation so cant buy mascara too.
Will be something on the list though

Do you have it? Is it as good as they said on prog?

widgypog · 08/01/2008 17:54

nailpolish..whats so special about that mascara please?

katwith3kittens · 08/01/2008 17:56

Oooh this has just reminded me ....

what was the face cream he recommended it was £28 ?

stripeytiger · 08/01/2008 22:32

Thanks for the suggestions. Another vote for Touche Eclat here, its brilliant. I get mine from Island Cosmetics and its about £7 cheaper than in the shops.

Will look at the Benefit Highbeam, thanks Nailpolish. Should be making the pack lunches though

kat it was the estee lauder daywear moisturiser (£28)

i have started using it and it is really really nice

i also bought the estee lauder eye cream which is fab too

re the mascara: one sweep and your eyelashes are thick and long and separated. it is very very good. the colour is very deep too

nailpolish · 09/01/2008 09:26

here is the list

although personally i prefer the YSL faux cils mascara to the one they recommend. but i think the show was made before the faux cils one was available in the shops

nailpolish · 09/01/2008 09:28

estee lauder daywear

MummyPenguin · 09/01/2008 09:38

I've been thinking about buying that mascara. The tester on HTLGN really rated it too. It's about £20 in the shops which seems expensive, but then again, how many mascaras do you buy a year? I could justify it, especially if it's really good. We've probably all spent £6 or £7 on one that'as shite.

MummyPenguin · 09/01/2008 09:39

I was watching HTLGN with DH when they featured that mascara, and I said "nice packaging too." DH looked at me like this

nailpolish · 09/01/2008 09:41

lol

did you say "ooh shiny"

ive done that out loud without meaning to!

katwith3kittens · 09/01/2008 10:27

Thanks Nailpolish.

I'm going away in a couple of weeks so I might just do a bit of duty free shopping He He !

mosschops30 · 09/01/2008 16:25

good bargaining there mummypenguin, indeed I do spend about £5-6 on various shitty mascaras throughout the year. I think really the YSL one would be a saving

Am gonna buy it at duty free when I go on hols

stripeytiger · 09/01/2008 20:52

Just ordered that YSL mascara from Strawberry.net cosmetics or something like that, very cheap about £14.00. Sounds great Nailpolish, can't wait to try it.
