Clean smelling everyday scent not too expensive

I've a birthday coming up and I'm after a new perfume for everyday wear.
I don't like flowery scents but cottony, musky scents verging on aftershave...

I've had CK one before it doesn't stay on me. Can anyone recommend a fresh laundry-smelling perfume for every day at around 60 quid or under?

Cabotine de Gres smells like clean laundry, it's been around for years and so cheap yet doesn't smell chemically - I'm always asked what I'm wearing and it's the cheapest perfume I own.

Prada Infusions d'Iris is clean and soapy. Anything with an iris note will smell clean.

Yes to Glossier You. I have loads of perfumes but could easily wear this every day! It has just 3 notes (including iris) and the reason I love it is because of its clean simplicity.

You can also wear with a beautiful smelling body lotion or another fragrance as a layer because it just enhances other scents rather than overpowering everything.

I find Glow really sickly sweet.

Nivea do a spray,very fresh and you can spend the rest of your budget on wine and birthday cake

I have been wearing Cerruti 1881 for 25 years daily. It’s normally £25 for 100ml

Posted too soon.. I always get asked what I’m wearing as it’s not too heady a scent but does last. I am prone to headaches and can’t wear Chanel No 5 amongst others

Aldi version of Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay is lovely and fresh and citrusy - but a bit different to the orang/lemon scents, I do like those too though.

CK In 2U is lovely, I also love Euphoria which a few people have mentioned but I find that more of a sweet smell than fresh/clean

Biotherm fragrances are lovely and fresh and clean smelling. Eau Soleil, Vitaminee and Eau Pure are all beautiful and on Amazon for between £20 - £30.

The body washes and body milks are very good too.

Good call. I have this as well as the Clean Reserve. I adore both. Was delighted to get two bottles at Christmas.

I really like Sailing Day by Maisonette Margiela.

But for a cheaper buy Perfume Parlour's Dove based on Dove soap. It really is very like a soap though.

Maison Margiela Replica Lazy y Sunday Morning as mentioned above has the added bonus of smelling like you've woken up from the night before with a bloke wearing aftershave!

I love the Aveda scent sprays, get a reaction to most fragrances but not those and they are very botanical/ non-sickly.
