Non wired bras

I have also worn under wired bras all my life - except when pregnant and breastfeeding- even my sports bras are wired.

Recently whichever bra I choose, the wires are so uncomfortable- bras that were previously comfortable.

Went to a yoga class and wore a non wired sports bras - over the head type. It was SO comfortable! At 54 I think my days of underwire bras may be over.

Can anybody recommend a bra without wires that is comfortable-or should I invest in a trip to Rigby and Peller or Bravissimo?

I have large boobs - 36E/F

Thank you

I buy mine from Sainsbury's. They're 2 for £18 I think and they're the most comfortable bras I've ever worn.

I've been trying the Molke one with a fastening. Pulling the string in the middle gives some separation but not as much as an underwire.

I'm so used to not wearing a bra in lockdown that underwired have felt far too restrictive. And this is a reasonable compromise for me.

I get endless ads for the LacyBra and Lotus Breeze bras on social media. They are wire free, supportive and very comfortable, apparently. They have proper cups do no monoboob.

Debenhams do quite a good range of non-wired ones (though now only online)
