Flares - shoes?

Decided to take a break from skinny jeans and go for some flares. Mine are a little longer than the models so look much more casual.

What shoes would you go for? I have some boots with a slim heel, boots with chunky heel. Trainer style shoes in light shades and dark shades. Chunky flat boots (but I don't think they will work). Sandals with small chunky heel for warmer weather?

I've been stuck in the skinny jeans and chunky hiking boots for what seems like months now so am clueless!!

I like these but would break my neck.

I managed to break my foot wearing similar platforms - so I'm a bit careful with sandals..

Back in the day when bootcuts were in I wore them with a medium heeled boot - they make your legs look so long!

Used to wear mine with Uggs or dms
