Need a funeral outfit, none of my smart clothes fit!

I've put on weight over the lockdown and got into the habit of wearing comfy clothes to Wfh. None of my smart stuff fits any more, I'm due to attend a funeral soon but just have no idea what to wear. Must be black or dark grey, very traditional. I've been looking for a dress but I'd want a pretty long one as I'm tall and a knee length dress ends up being too short. I can't find anything that is smart enough, long enough etc. please help!

Ah forgot to say I need size 18!

Sorry for your loss. I would go Boden - they do plain jersey dresses in black and navy - usually regular and longer length.

There’s a long black jersey dress on Roman.co.uk for £25. Reviews are good. It’s not super exciting but could work.

Next has a similar one for £35 but not in size 18 . Comes up big. Tu at Sainsburys have a button through black one too.

I needed one for when I was 20w pregnant and found that H&M had a lot of black, oversized or made from stretchy material dresses (but not bodycon, so still occasion appropriate) which worked well in the price range of £20-30.

Ah I managed to find a few options on Roman and a code for 20% off so I've ordered a few things to try.
