Help desperately needed with shoes

I have arthritis and osteoporosis and wear very comfortable cushioned shoes - I have 6 pairs of Nike Airs I wear most of the time.
I need shoes to wear with dresses. I have several weddings etc coming up this spring/summer and have a dress similar to this (but I got it second hand) www.matchesfashion.com/products/1432908?country=GBR&srsltid=AWLEVJy5dUSDwyDKNQSHrQSSKQRNYwm9j7lIAaL-1fnE52U0mILjkWWGyNU
Any ideas for very comfortable shoes for feet that are always very sore and cold?
Many thanks

I am 48, can I really wear trainers with a dress and not look like I have forgotten to change my shoes? I LOVE the idea of buying a nice pair of silver or white nike air Max 90s - I wish they still did my all time fav trainers - the flyknit Air Max 90

Of course you can! That’s a beautiful dress and would look fab with some silver trainers. You will enjoy the day so much more if you are comfortable.

Of course you can!! You’ll look great and it’s a very chic ensemble. Gavel 🌝

My podiatrist is over the moon cos all his midlife lady clients are turning to Nike and his appointment schedule is finally under control.

Yes you can. You will look cool and beautiful in that dress with metallic trainers or brogues .

Yes you can ! Fab dress and lovely suggestions.

I'm liking the rainbow trainers so much I may just have to buy a pair !

stylehelpneeded · 11/03/2022 16:02

air and grace are the most comfy trainers I've ever owned! I also love the brogues idea.

Sorry OP to sidetrack - I have wide feet - would Air & Grace suit ? They look so lovely

Have you looked at Sole Bliss?

Trainers at a wedding????! Is it a very casual wedding?

HemlockStarglimmer · 17/03/2022 22:14

My go to is Fit Flop. Fit Flop Super Loafers ensured my feet weren't totally wrecked after a day on my feet at work.

KimikosNightmare · 17/03/2022 22:30

@Joyfulflowers

Have a look at Fitflops - these ballet pumps may fit the bill. They also have various other styles and colours that could work.

Love your dress

Those would be perfect with that dress.

Absolutely no trainers !

aeroman2k · 18/03/2022 01:34

Go for MBT dress shoes, extremely comfortable shoes

OldLadyInPolyester · 18/03/2022 06:51

I wouldn't wear trainers to a wedding, sorry.

Or brogues would look good.
