What shoes to wear with this dress?

I quite like the idea of heeled ankle boots, seen people wearing those with midaxi skirts/dresses. Would it work or do I stick with a strappy heel?

I personally think you need long sleeves to get away with boots, or at least a jacket over.

It's a hen do but casual, meal out and a cocktail class! The dress is quiz

I think some pale colour boots like these would work
