If you’re busty how do you tie your scarves?

I’ve noticed in photos that the ends of the scarf hang over my boobs making them look even bigger than they are! How do you tie your scarves in a more flattering way?

Get longer scarves?

Candlecassie · 08/03/2022 06:58

I don’t wear them. I’ll wear longer necklaces or removable shoulder pads. Don’t knock the shoulder pads. That was a tip I got from a John Lewis personal shopper.

I don't wear them very often for this reason. When I do I usually double them round my neck and tuck the ends through to make them very short. Either that or just have both ends hanging straight down.

Luredbyapomegranate · 08/03/2022 07:05

I wouldn’t wear them in that case

I do this too, or if it's a square scarf I sometimes wear them neckerchief style with a 'triangle' at the front.

Bother, I love my scarves and have loads of them!

Maybe get some scarf magnets and arrange them so the ends are not loose?

Invitationtoclose88 · 08/03/2022 07:41

Only wear very large or long scarves!

Have a look at a Trinny video to avoid the two pronged looked:

Sorry cannot link! But she ties them in a different way... .

Are you talking about 'indoor' scarves, rather than a wooly one worn with your coat when you go out?

bendmeoverbackwards · 08/03/2022 08:02

Well both really @DietrichandDiMaggio I’ve got some lovely cashmere ‘woolly’ scarves for when it’s cold and also lighter ones for spring/autumn. I wouldn’t wear them indoors though.
