They say leggings but believe me, no-one would want to see my legs in leggings! Would jeans look silly? Any suggestions?

Ggirl ... you're fast turning into my fashion advisor!! They sent it 2 sizes too big in error so am waiting for the correct size tomorrow before trying on - but yes, black trousers might look good.

BTW, remember the black a-line skirt you linked to? It arrived today and is absolutely lovely on. Really simple cut but looks well and v. comfy. So thanks for that!

I would wear it with straight jeans. Id never be seen dead in leggings. I wore them first time round!

It would be lovely with straight jeans but if I buy any more maternity clothes I will be heading for the divorce courts ! Must try it with my bootlegs - they're not too wide and a nice cut so I'll seee what it looks like - actually, probably not great as they're dark blue as opposed to black.

No its a waste buying too many maternity clothes. I bought bare minimal i could get away with.

Defo slim legged black trousers and IME maternity clothes ARE worth spending some money on the essentials (jeans, black trousers and a few nice tops)

Thanks folks! 5'7" but my legs are waaaaay to skinny for leggings - ugh! Will try with the black trousers. Have got a few lovely bits from Isabella Oliver & Seraphine so feel fairly well equipped at this stage but keep seeing things that I like ....

i did buy stuff, but to fair i wasnt very big so i didnt actually buy maternity as such just slightly bigger normal stuff. Didnt buy any black trousers this time cos was summer(if you can call it that)so got linen trousers and 3 pairs of jeans. Got those boyfriend fit ones and they had some nice ones in river iSLAND. Looked nice with vests n tshirts.

When I was pregnant I was the same - didnt buy much maternity stuff. I remember I did buy 2 pairs of maternity trousers from next - they were fab.
