Where do you buy nice flattering tops if you are larger on top?

I’m a size 12, 5’3” age 46. I’m struggling to find flattering tops to wear as my top half is bigger & I have a lockdown tummy that i need to work on shifting!
I’ve just had a look through John Lewis website at tops and so many are high necked or have frills or ruffles or are kind of smock style. I can’t wear any of these as it makes me look like a buxom milkmaid & makes me look bigger than I am!

Can anyone recommend anywhere to get some nice flattering tops/shirts/blouses please? I’d like a bit of colour too if possible as trying to move away from black. Thanks for any suggestions

Hi @Littlemiss74
I find the 2 in 1 style tops work well ( they look like a vest with cardigan over but are actually all attached so not bulky, if cardigan is darker colour very slimming as well ) I’ve attached a photo of an M&S one I’ve just bought from ebay, ebay have lots of choice.
Also bought a lovely grey Laura Ashley version off ebay which is linen. Good luck !

I find that a v neck top with a contrasting round neck vest or tshirt underneath is the most flattering as the v reduces the impact of your boobs and the round neck top underneath gives a bit of coverage. This also works with a top with a half zip as you can open the zip up to create a V neck.
