Looking for shoespiration - looks like Uggs but waterproof and with support?!

Does this shoe exist? I fear it may not.

I like my ankle Uggs for comfort and relaxed fit, and I like the silhouette which makes my legs look slimmer. However they have no support which means sore legs and soles the next day, and they are very impractical for dirt.

I’m looking for a bulky boot - so maybe something like a low welly rather than a streamlined Chelsea boot - that is at least a little more practical than Uggs. I do like a hiking boot style silhouette but not something super technical looking. Simplicity ideal.

Aiming to use it about town as well as for gentle countryside walks / parks.

Can you help me?

Amy

Fit Flop boots might be good.

I have these sorel boots which I adore. I don't tie them so they are wide at the top. I even added a sheepskin insole for an ugg effect. So comfortable, warm and waterproof

Also these short country boots (lots of other/nicer styles of short country boot available too, but these were heavily discounted) Definitely fits the short welly requirement. You can of course get waterproof Ugg's too in various styles however I've kind of fallen out of love with ugg. Many of them don't have any lining anymore, some aren't even leather and my last pair were so uncomfortable I rarely wear them.

To add there is a leather lining behind the zip of the second boots so you can leave them unzipped or partially zipped for a more slouchy look as it's still held together

Have you looked at Fly boots?

Llamasally · 26/02/2022 07:13

The Roscommon are shorter still

Panama Jack Bambino are quite comfortable and warm. Tretorn baffle boots are very very warm and light. They are supposed to be water proof but mine leaked during a heavy downpour. Otherwise I liked them a lot.

Ugg Adirondack boots are brilliant - wouldn't be without mine.

Have you looked at Celtic and co? They have fabulous boots and so comfortable.
