Emperors New Clothes. Can't you see it hatwoman, lulu?
It's MARVELLOUS tutter, I adore it.

ahundredtimes · 02/01/2008 19:18

Bah. X post.

Ahem. Going to look at dress.

Am confident of still adoring it. . .[nervous]

PrismManchip · 02/01/2008 19:18

It's a lovely dress - dunno about shape.
Doesn't "La Petite Salope" mean "the Little Bitch"???

08aGreatYearForCarmenere · 02/01/2008 19:18

It is a gorgeous dress.

JackieNo · 02/01/2008 19:18

Well it has a built in basque, but what would your stomach do below the waist, iyswim?

chibi · 02/01/2008 19:19

take care as the high neckline could make you look dowdy if you are large of nork

Tutter · 02/01/2008 19:19

this fabulous but a wee bit short

ahundredtimes · 02/01/2008 19:19

Oh it IS a good dress [phew]

So long as it doesn't make you look bigger? It could go either way you know.

Dresses cut on the bias good for tummies I think.

fishie · 02/01/2008 19:19

i think it is too whiffly and will add bulk. what about showing a bit of bosom?

lulumama · 02/01/2008 19:20

it is beautiful, do you have good upper arms though? i bet you do, i bet you are all neat and firm in the arm region

yup, gorgeous

Tutter · 02/01/2008 19:20

am titch of nork chibi

PrismManchip · 02/01/2008 19:21

Second dress very much not my thing at all
Are you tallish? I think the first one would look good on a tall woman.

lulumama · 02/01/2008 19:21

definite no to sparkly frippery one....

chibi · 02/01/2008 19:21

7 months postpartum + my thighs only stopped touching each other 2 weeks ago - tutter i salute you for even considering this last one

Tutter · 02/01/2008 19:22

am tall, small of nork and good of leg

have reasonable upper arms. a bit of bicep work between now and then plus a scrub and fake tan should be ok

anyway would be covered in daylight

DrNortherner · 02/01/2008 19:22

Tis a lovley dress, but a little at the proce.

Agree with Fishie, it could make you look bigger, it's a bit voluminous.

ahundredtimes · 02/01/2008 19:24

what about this one?

Tutter · 02/01/2008 19:25

had spotted it 100x

love it

but would be bad with my current (lack of) waist

in fact would prob need to go up 2 sizes just to do zip up

OP posts:
fishie · 02/01/2008 19:25

or this one?

noddyholder · 02/01/2008 19:25

Lovely

hatwoman · 02/01/2008 19:26

very nice - difficult to tell if it would flatter.
