I've got a Next gift card I need to use. Saw a nice cardigan under one of the brand's they sell. Unfortunately it is full price in Next despite having money off of I were to buy it direct from the actual brand. Can anyone tell me when / if next prices will align?

No in my experience they don’t usually reduce their price in line with other shops who sell the same brand items.

Very frustrating. I can't understand why they wouldn't but in I'm struggling to find something I like from them them that is not overpriced. Shame.

Yes I have noticed this too.

OinkyO · 21/02/2022 10:05

I've noticed this. I always search for the item I like on the brands website directly.

Armadeus · 21/02/2022 11:01

Which brand is it ?

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 21/02/2022 11:03

They won't - they don't price match like John Lewis unless it goes into the sale of course.

Mumsnut · 21/02/2022 11:34

Once branded items go into the sale though, they are sometimes discounted much more than on the parent websites

gunnersgold · 21/02/2022 13:00

They are usually full price and online is often reduced . They won't align but often things are cheaper than online in thr clearance section.
I think you are confusing them with John Lewis who price match!
Next make their money by people buying more than they can afford on their credit account so don't need to be the most competitive !

gunnersgold · 21/02/2022 13:01

Go to thr clearance bit and have a look at the brands you like ! Loads of bargains!

I saw a Jigsaw top on Next for £85 two weeks ago. I was going to order it but they didn't have my size in stock.
I had a look at the jigsaw website- there it was, in my size, for £48!! Ordered right away- and lesson learned- it's always worth checking direct with the brands offered through Next.

Kazplus2 · 22/02/2022 18:09

It's a phase eight cardigan. £75 in Next and £55 in Phase Eight (although limited sizes left now).

They don't, but if it goes in the end of season sale they sell it for less than the brand does on the sale usually
