Dithering about a Dyson

Is it worth the money? I've got short hair and I can't decide if I'm being seduced by the hype. Also considering the GHD Helios which is half the price. Any opinions? Thanks.

The comments about the Shark are interesting. We've got a Shark vacuum and a Ninja Foodie but I would never buy direct from Shark again due to their awful customer service. If I could buy it somewhere else I'd be interested if I need a new hairdryer

I’ve got one but I’m very “meh” about it. It’s ok but not amazing. It broke recently (after 18 months) and to be fair, they did replace it. But whilst I was waiting for my new one I ordered a cheap job for £20 from Amazon and couldn’t really tell the difference in drying time/ how it works etc. I wouldn’t buy another one.
