Black jeans.

They are comfortable, easy to wear and go with lots of different things. They’re in the wash today and I’m wondering what to wear instead!

Probably my massive charcoal-grey hoodie.

WingBingo · 11/02/2022 08:16

If I’m working from home I wear joggers, so no help!

By another pair? Things you wear all the time are worth investing in.

Vallmo47 · 11/02/2022 08:16

Jeans. Good luck OP!

AuntieMarys · 11/02/2022 08:17

I have 3 pairs of identical black straight leg jeans. Worn constantly September to April

1frenchfoodie · 11/02/2022 08:20

Right now a mustard wool jumper. In summer for the past few years a black linen jumpsuit.

Adatwistscientist · 11/02/2022 08:20

Black Primark leggings when working from home.

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 11/02/2022 08:20

A pair of Next pj bottoms. Soft, navy with rabbits on. Bought from a charity shop for the princely sum of £1. I try not to wear them too much outside!! 😳

Hungry625f · 11/02/2022 08:27

Probably a mint velvet top that is casual yet also smartish. Looks amazing with most things

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/02/2022 08:38

Black ankle boots from Seasalt. these

Clothing-wise, plain black scoop neck long sleeve tops from Jigsaw. Unfortunately they seem to have stopped doing them and I can't find a replacement. I've got 3 and am hoping they last forever!

Laufeythejust · 11/02/2022 08:44

My black leggings and grey hoodie. Feels like PJs and I can get away with them on the teams call.

evilharpy · 11/02/2022 09:04

Franka boots from All Saints. I think I've worn these more times than any other boots I've ever owned in the year or so I've had them.

Clothes-wise, I bought these acid wash mom jeans from Asda in December 2019, so not long before lockdown. I've been working from home pretty much ever since and my work wardrobe has been all but abandoned and I've lived in these.

Black cardigan or jacket - I have a few for different looks/seasons because it's something I reach for over and over again. I prefer an open, slightly longer shape that I can thrown on any outfit to feel instantly more put together. Current favourite is a cashmere/merino mix longline cardigan.

Phos · 11/02/2022 09:36

I alternate between 3 pairs of jeans - black, dark blue and light blue. I have others but these seem to be the go tos. I'm obsessed with the jumper I got for Christmas at the moment too, its black and gray with a collar and big chunky buttons.

Purplecatshopaholic · 11/02/2022 09:38

All Saints slip dresses. I have several and wear them all the time. Comfy, look good, can dress them up or down depending on what you are doing - just so easy to wear

DefaultParent · 11/02/2022 09:39

Black sports leggings. Usually with a baggy jumper. I'm on maternity leave so I don't need to look smart and if baby plays ball it means I'm ready to do a quick yoga session if baby is chilled.

AgathaMystery · 11/02/2022 09:39

A Ted baker cardi wrap (NOT a waterfall cardi). Had it over a decade and it still looks new. I get compliments every time I wear it. I think it’s been washed perhaps 800-900 times?

Hm2020 · 11/02/2022 09:42

Black faux leather leggings from H&M can be dressed up or down comfy and hard wearing

crazyjinglist · 11/02/2022 09:55

Apart from my (blue) jeans, the thing I am wearing to death atm is my first ever pure cashmere jumper. I never understood why people bang on about cashmere, then I impulse bought a Ralph Lauren orange v-neck cashmere jumper in the men's section of TKMaxx and OMG I can't stop wearing it! I get it now, and will be looking out for more cashmere bargains. I often buy jumpers in the men's section- they seem to be better quality for a lower price.

EllaPaella · 11/02/2022 10:17

Hands down my jeans - I have so many pairs.
I hardly ever wear anything else on my legs tbh.

Ponks · 11/02/2022 11:13

Black velvet jeans. Have several pairs with slightly different fits for when I feel more or less chunky. Currently wearing Hush velvet skinnies on repeat, with biker boots and a black turtleneck.

IvorCutler · 11/02/2022 11:25

Leather trousers.

ExConstance · 11/02/2022 11:29

A sweatshirt I bought on a ranch holiday in Wyoming in 1983, still the warmest and most cuddly I have ever had.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 11/02/2022 11:29

A big, black Jigsaw wool jumper that I got from eBay a few years ago.

BestIsWest · 11/02/2022 11:37

Remus if you only knew the boot envy you’ve caused me with those Seasalt boots. Why on Earth do they stop at size 7.5? Everyone goes up to size 8 these days.

BestIsWest · 11/02/2022 11:41

I live in M&S jeans, long vests from Tesco F&F, wool jumpers and Fitflops Rally trainers (I am not stylish!) but my most worn item ever is a grey cashmere snood from John Lewis. Since October it’s either been round my neck or in the wash.
