How can I have better eyebrows without wearing makeup?

I have terrible eyebrows. In order to get a good shape I would have to draw in the missing part, which is fine if I’m wearing make up.

I rarely wear make up except for special occasions, weddings, or very dressy events. But day to day I don’t.

Is there anything I can do about my eyebrows just to look better on a daily basis?

I really am clueless. I last got them plucked 15 years ago before eyebrows were a thing and beauticians speak a language I don’t I understand.

It’s totally not true that microblading looks harsh without makeup. Hmm

I have microblading - phibrows, as mentioned above - and it looks like real hair! Mine are arched (personal preference) but they don’t look made up.

Powder brows look like makeup. But that’s not the same thing.

Excuse the terrible photo - I’m lying in a heap on the bed - but here are my microbladed brows (well, one of them).

Rapid brown is bloody brilliant. I do rapid brow and then the dye brow home tint. It’s super-easy and I have gone from invisible brows to ones Bert and Ernie would be proud of!

The woman who did mine is expensive, and worth it

Microblading. They numb the area first so no pain. They'll shade match so you don't look overdone with no make up. Get personal recommendations.

Micro blading didn't work for me, I only wear tinted moisturiser and use the benefit brow pallet the powder very gently applied it's the best I've found and I've tried most of them.

I second RapidBrow. It is expensive and you need to make sure you get a genuine one, not like the one I got on ebay that smelt like sewage water!

It does work (Rapidbrow, that is) but also takes about 2 months to show results. Plus you have to keep using it, perhaps once daily.

But it's the least damaging of the options. I don't fancy microblading as I have to take blood medication and bleed easily.

I’d probably try a tint and shape before going down the micro blading route. My local beautician charges £25 and I go every 6-8 weeks.

I noticed my eyebrows were disappearing a few months ago. I have an underactive thyroid and it is a common effect. I bought castor oil, cleaned an old eyelash brush and coat them in castor oil every night. Eight weeks later I have full eyebrows, bit thin bit light but definitely growing.

Combination of rapidbrow, tinting, no/limited plucking for some time will help a lot. Also, I have found that using an eyebrow razor to shape them enables a much better shape without getting rid of volume. And I now slightly shorten the end of my eyebrows - just removing the very end hairs - and this creates the illusion that the tail is thicker.

@minipie

RapidBrow. To my surprise it works, to an extent. You won’t end up with Delevigne type brows but it definitely increases growth.
Yes I use this and the growth has been amazing. I now get them waxed and shaped whereas mine were a victim of the 1970s.
