I think they will always be fashionable because they are comfortable. People will go on wearing them.

LaDiDancesroundtheXmastree · 01/01/2008 01:42

doubt it

dexter73 · 01/01/2008 09:18

I don't get the thing about them being comfortable because all my shoes are comfortable otherwise I wouldn't wear them!

kindersurprise · 01/01/2008 09:22

I don't think that they are particularly fashionable, but that did not stop me buying them.

I have the furry lined ones on at the moment and they are lovely and cosy.

needmorecoffee · 01/01/2008 09:23

Didn't realise they were trendy. I thought they were gradening shoes but bought them cos they are great for camping.
Wear them with socks too
But then I'm not even remotely fashionable

CantSleighWontSleigh · 01/01/2008 09:26

Oh kindersurprise - are the mammouth ones lovely? I laughed when I first saw a pic of them, but my winter shoes are so not as comfortable as my summer crocs, and I might be tempted.

kindersurprise · 01/01/2008 15:48

Cantsleigh

I laughed my head off too, until I tried them on in a weak moment. They are soooo comfy and warm. Great for nipping out to the shops or for picking the DCs up from kindergarten.

I gave in and bought the DCs them too as they kept asking. I like the fact that you can take the furry lining out later so once they are too wee for the DCs they can wear them as normal Crocs. DS LOVES his (he is 3yo)

Beetootoyourself · 01/01/2008 15:49

how can yo even think of putting this in style and beauty

tassisssss · 01/01/2008 15:51

i think they're great for kids and will confess that i have a pair too (not the real thing but very comfy)

ds loved his last summer and has a pair waiting for him in the cupboard in the next size which i'm hoping will do this year

might have to get dd a pair too

janeite · 01/01/2008 15:53

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

They are were vile last Summer and will remain vile this Summer. Step AWAY from the crocs.

kindersurprise · 01/01/2008 15:59

I know that they are not stylish!

I think I have been brainwashed by some Croc-wearing Alien as I am normally quite stylish (honest!) but I just cannot resist them. or should that be

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 01/01/2008 16:03

I'd like to employ an army to seize as many pairs as they could find, pile 'em up in the town square and burn the repulsive articles.

But the chemical emissions of such an act wouldn't sit well with my green credentials.

tigermoth · 01/01/2008 16:13

lol@beetootoyourself!

I too am wondering if they will be as big in 2008 as they were last year. Hope so. (Tigermoth runs off in shame)

janmoomoo · 01/01/2008 19:49

The most hideous trend of 2007. Also I am sure they are not good for childrens feet - how can they walk in them. Mind you my DH hates my Ugg boots and I absolutely adore them!

lubyluby · 01/01/2008 19:57

cute for kids! but not full grown adults haven;t seen an adult who looks stylish in them yet.

my three kids had them in the summer and they all looked cute, especially my dd who was about 16 months, she ahd jibbitz too.

ds2 (5) has the crocs mammtoh now and they are so soft, didn;t realsie the lining came out, so thats good will save me buying a new pair for him in the summer.

sure kids will still love them in the summer.
sizing i would say is true to size so if a size 6 buy a 6.

i have an adults 5 to sell which i must list in the summer as my mum brought them for me but i am a size 7!!!

maximummummy · 01/01/2008 20:38

yes of course they'll still be fashionable!!
i LOooooooooVE mine and wear them all year - as slippers in winter - i also have the mammoths which i loved untill i got my UGG boots which replaced them in the warmth stakes never wanna take them off
