Eyebrow Tint too dark!

I need some reassurance here. I've had my browns waxed and tinted today. I'm low maintenance with my brows, as in they are always a bit of a mess and I don't wear eye pencil etc. So I can't pull off the glamorous look.
I have dark hair and she only used medium brown tint but they are so 'there' and dark. All I see are brows! My partner is going to laugh at me when he sees them.
Please reassure me it'll fade...soon.

Shape is amazing. At the moment there is dye on your skin hence the block effect. When that goes in a few days, it will feel more natural

nellly · 08/02/2022 16:49

They look ace, not too 'done' at all

Emmas85 · 08/02/2022 16:51

They look so much better!

Iamkmackered1979 · 08/02/2022 16:55

I usually get mine done at benefit she’s really good but I’ve stopped getting them tinted as it’s too much for me just too dark but I think yours look great, it does fade like hair dye so they won’t always look so dark but honestly they look fab.

livelyliz · 08/02/2022 16:57

As others have said, they look lovely but if you want to dull them down just brush a bit of mineral powder or face powder over them.

user94747295 · 08/02/2022 16:58

Was coming on here with loads of advice but after seeing the photos I'm not saying a word, they look lovely!!!

Fastforwardtospring · 08/02/2022 17:08

They look amazing! Lucky you, only needing a tint, you will get used to them, give it a few days and you won’t notice, you will however be itching to get them done again when they fade.

Classica · 08/02/2022 17:11

They look fantastic. You're just not used to them.

nopuppiesallowed · 08/02/2022 17:29

Lucky you! Your new eyebrows look great. I dye mine but they are quite thin so also have to use eye pencil / eye shadow, Has anyone had any success with using castor oil to thicken them up? Or does anyone have suggestions?

1frenchfoodie · 08/02/2022 17:32

They look great in the after, what a talented beautician.

TooManyPJs · 08/02/2022 17:51

They look fantastic!

maddy68 · 08/02/2022 17:53

It fades really quickly and probably doesn't look as dark to everyone else as it does to you.
You can use lemon juice to lighten it. But give it a few days first to make sure it's not just "different"

TooManyPJs · 08/02/2022 17:54

I don't understand how she got all that eyebrow where there was very little before. How does treat work if was just a tint?

Cas112 · 08/02/2022 18:18

It will fade soon

Montysauras · 08/02/2022 18:33

They look great! I’m jealous! It’s just the ‘shock’, I’m the same anytime I have my eyebrows or hair done

optimistic40 · 08/02/2022 18:38

@Nevermindful

I normally have white blonde eyebrows, practically invisible. The first time I had them tinted I thought I looked insane. No other fucker even noticed I'd had them done.
I did some tinting at college and everyone had this reaction. They think it's a massive difference and honestly, it isn't! Other people barely notice darker eyebrows. My ex-partner never mentioned it when I did it on myself for practise, and he was the type to notice everything!

So fear not OP, unless they're suddenly black from blonde nobody will notice.

optimistic40 · 08/02/2022 18:39

Just saw the pics! They look good. They were already nice actually, but yes, that colour suits you well.

GreekGod · 08/02/2022 18:42

They look great - well done

I was about to say the same!

It grabs every tiny baby hair that wasn't visible before so they often look thicker/fuller
Planetzero · 09/02/2022 14:42

They’re really nice!

If you are self-conscious you can always wear glasses for a week or so until they fade or you get used to them.

Thehokeypokey · 09/02/2022 15:30

They look great! I always feel like I come out of the salon looking like Helga from Hey Arnold but nobody else does

Overandout1 · 09/02/2022 15:54

Thanks again all. @TooManyPJs and @Mollysocks I actually wondered exactly the same thing! But what @ihaveonecat said makes sense.
They are nowhere near as dark today or as obviously defined. They still look good though. I think she used a bit of eye pencil on them too- so I've asked her which because it may be nice to create a more defined look (although I'm clueless!).

@Overandout1@ihaveonecat ooo that’s interesting. I’ve been trying to grow my brows back in for over a year now and there has been some v slow progress but ultimately I don’t think it’s happening. I don’t fancy tattooing them on and didn’t think tinting was an option but maybe that would work for me…

@Overandout1 she’s done a fantastic job, you may be in a completely different part of the country to me but would be very interested in her details. If you don’t mind sharing could you PM them?

ihaveonecat · 09/02/2022 16:28

@TooManyPJs I've had mine tattooed and LOVE them
