Night out in Manchester - what to wear

I'm going to Manchester for the weekend in a couple of weeks with 4 friends. I haven't really been 'out out' since pre-pandemic and tend to live in leggings and jumpers. I seem to have forgotten how to dress and looking online isn't helping, everything seems to be minuscule and cropped!

What do people wear these days for dinner and cocktails? I'm 5'7, size 14 and mid 40's.

Still working on it myself tbh, but I tend to shop in H&M for top and jeans and Oliver Bonas for jewellery. I’m no fashion maven but I feel confident dressed like this. Brighter than normal lipsick, too, and I keep my phone and card in my pocket, but I think most would have a small bag.

I’m also size 14, 5’ 7’ and early forties and last night I went out in Manchester and wore a black jumpsuit from Monki and leopard print boots
