Petite dresses/jumpsuits wear to a wedding and an evening do

I have an evening wedding do to go to in late February, and an all day wedding to go to in May. Both are fairly formal, but not stuffy, and although I wouldn’t wear trousers to either, I think a jumpsuit would be perfect, or else a dress. Both indoor venues.

I can only buy clothes in petite collections as I am so short (5 foot 1) and need the petite proportions (less deep neckline, narrower shoulders, shorter body arms and legs etc). I am between a 12 and a 14, bigger on the tummy hips and thighs, narrow shoulders. I’m 46. I usually shop for events like this in Boden or Phase Eight. But can I find anything that suits? Can I hell. Please help!

Unfortunately, the Hobbs petite looks too like workwear, which is a shame, as the quality is good.

AX Paris doesn’t do petite unfortunately, and aren’t quite smart enough.

And Next petite unfortunately isn’t throwing up anything.

ASOS have petite jumpsuits.

My many lumps and bumps mean that I need to have something with a bit of weight, so that it doesn’t cling. Like a really heavy jersey or something like that, unfortunately asos doesn’t have things like that, which means that they’re hugely unflattering for me.

You could have a look at Wallis. I’m the same height as you and have several things, including jumpsuits, from their petite range which fit me perfectly.

I'm eyeing up a few in eshakti- they're made to measure. I have no experience of them though.

I’m 5’3, petite build and got a lovely phase eight jumpsuit from John Lewis recently. It wasn’t from a petite range, but it did have a high waist, narrow shoulders etc so worked for me - just needed to take the legs up.
