The boots are £49 on shoeaholics site. I buy all my shoes from them.

The dress will be very flattering. I’d wear a court or ballerina shoe with it.

Oh I love that dress. Perfect for a romantic dinner and the sheer sleeves would be very flattering.

Personally I would wear black heels, probably pointy toe, I think it's a classic look, but then I'm not necessarily that stylish!!

On that note, if I was to wear the dress with the boots, should I wear tights under the dress? If so what colour? My legs are white and chicken skin looking

That dress is so pretty! And you'd get loads of wear out of those boots. I'd go for black tights, hide a multitude of sins and you can get away with either really black tights or sheer black tights at the moment. Hope you have a lovely time!

The dress arrived and looks ridiculous on me, almost comical. Oh well! Back to the drawing board!

It's a nice dress, but I REALLY don't like it when there's a really obvious seam along the bottom. It's a wee bit frilly for me, too, but I'm old.
