Hello everyone,
I'm going away at the end of the month and I really need some swimming costumes.

So I'm 50 and fashionable, and I don't want anything too revealing.
Trouble is I'm a uk size 8 with a 30ff bust size.
So I need a costume that goes on bust size, rather than S, M, L or 8, 10 etc, as the cups don't fit and this is what a lot of shops do.

I usually get my bras from bravissimo, but I haven't seen anything in the swimming that I like. Also I'm not after a bikini, I want a bit more coverage than that.

Any suggestions of places to search will be very much appreciated.

I was going to suggest bra-sized bikinis but see you have said no (although if you're a size 8, you will look fine). What about a tankini? I would look at places like Bra Stop and a few others for last year's stock. All mine have come from there in recent years.

I'm a size 8 and a 28G/30FF and I've found some of the Next shape enhancing ones are roomier on the bust than expected.

Freya an Panache do nice swimwear. I am 30FF and wear the Freya active swimming costumes for swimming. You can sometimes pick up seconds on eBay.

ive got some lovely ones from pour moi, you can order direct but think next also stocks them

Thank you everyone, I'll have a browse.
@XingMing yes I wouldn't mind a tankini either. I've never been much of a bikini fan on myself. But others look fab in them. X

I was going to suggest Pour Moi too. I don’t rate their bras but their cozzies are gorgeous.

Pour moi and bravissimo

LostMySocks · 01/02/2022 23:40

Bravissimo. Not the cheapest. But they fit and are supportive. And a choice of beachwear and serious swimming options

I'm a 30F and size 8 and have several Lepel tankinis and swimming costumes that are really good and true to size. Would highly recommend.

Swimsuit wise I've 3 pairs of the Primark halter neck backless ones. I'm 32ff and a size 10. These are unreal. Literally purchased in every colour I could find at a fiver each. Not suitable for competitive swimming but perfect for holidays or spas.
