Will high rise skinny jeans look nice on tall, slim & narrow hips?

Currently wear low rise and mid rise skinny jeans, will high rise look ok for tall, slim, straight/no hip figure? Will they make hips look smaller or bigger? Any recommendations for designer high rise skinny’s for my shape?

I'm a similar shape and find that high waists make me look even straighter. A mid rise or lower gives me a bit of a waist as the belt on the hips makes them appear bigger.
That said, high waist are nice, beltless, under jumpers and tops as they give a smoother line.

They make my bum look a bit flat but my legs amazing so I wear them anyway!

If you have a figure that beautiful then high rise jeans will highlight it even more. That's kind of the point of them really, they pull in at the waist and then you wear a more fitted top/ tuck your top in. You will look great. Skinny jeans and high waisted jeans always look the best on tall, slim women with great figures and nothing to try to "hide".

In a sensible price range, I have found Diesel do longer legged jeans that they don't cut to fit the waist and bottom of a hippopotamus just because you are tall. 😆 GAP can be hit and miss as well depending on the cut of the specific items, some styles work for taller women without them assuming that tall means huge in every dimension!

What are your vertical proportions like? If you have a short torso high rise jeans can make you look odd regardless of hips.

Regardless of hips? What woman has the waist and bottom of a hippopotamus, I wonder?

I don't understand your comment? So many of the 'style rules' are about what shape you are in terms of hips/waist/bust but sometimes you follow these 'rules' and something still looks off, it's usually because of vertical proportions.

It's a metaphor.

@HootOwl thanks that’s helpful. I don’t know a lot about what looks good! Someone else has suggested diesel so I may try those

I’m a similar shape to you and have recently just bought two pairs of high waisted skinny jeans. I’m loving them with a tucked in tee or cropped jumper / cardigan and a belt to break it up a bit. Finished off with my biker boots, perfecto!

I'm another straight up and down figure, lived in skinny low waist jeans until last summer, then my daughter persuaded me to buy some mom jeans which actually look really good. I'm going to try a pair of high waist skinny jeans next based on this thread! My favourite jean brand is Le Temps des Cerises but I'm in France and not sure they are available in the UK.
