I can't justify the cost of GHD's on me so will these do?

I was bought the new thinner plated ones for xmas, so might be selling older GHD's if you are interested NAB?

I couldn't afford the GHD ones and found the SHE ones (see Kitty's link) about a year ago. Apparently they are made by the same factory that manufactures GHD's and they are fab! This has also been verified by a friend who is a hairdresser and trialled them for me when I bought them. I have the exta wide ones cos my hair is really big and they work every time.

ive got the pink babyliss ones, they're around £35 on additions. I trod on my GHDs and can't afford new ones so I thought I'd risk it and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'd still have bought GHDs if I could have afforded it, but at 230 degrees these aren't actually much off them.

I bought GHD's after spending a fortune on others that wern't much good, my GHD's lasted just over 12 month and was treated to some Babyliss pro 230 last christmas, theyre still going strong 12 month on and I firmly beleive they are better than GHD's perfect poker straight her everytime and my hair is thick and naturally very wavy

How hot are GHD's? I've got some. I thought they were about 220 degrees, are they hotter?
