Tights - what brand do you buy and how long do they last you?

I'm fed up of the number of pairs of tights I seem to get through. I have to wear black tights for work, and I seem to either get holes in the toes or ladder them at least once/twice a week. Admittedly they do get worn a lot, but it's costing me a fortune. Any ideas/advice or suggestions for robust brands?

Snag tights, over a year and counting

Sainsburys, there is always 1 that gets a hole in the toe on day one.

I have falke and wolford opaques that are easily over 5 years old. I definitely look after my expensive pairs though so that probably makes a difference too.

I have m&s ones which I replace every couple of years

I'm a p/t nurse and also p/t medical office worker so I wear them a lot. During my nursing shifts I'm always catching them on something so they got holed/runs, and for some reason when I'm doing my office job they get holes in the toes with heels. Very annoying.

H&M. Last a whole autumn/winter.

Next. Last me 3 or 4 years

Snag. They last forever!

My last ones are from M & S and seem to be doing ok.

M and S, I've got pairs from years ago still going strong!

What am I doing wrong? Admittedly I wear them from getting dressed til bedtime on a work day, maybe that's the problem?
