If I want hair like this what do I ask for?

I will obviously show them the photo but I need to book and give an idea of what I want. Base and foils/balayage. Help me please

Based on my resulting experience this look does not work with a fringe, or straight hair…

I did get what I want. I also have a particular preference, I like to ensure that the balayage is visible around the sides of my hair (e.g. if I wear a pony tail, I want to be able to see the colours on the sides of my head between my ears and hair tie... I realise writing that down that it sounds weird, it just makes me look a lot fresher when I have my hair tied up which is often).

Because I have warm-toned dark hair, I also request a toner to ensure that the highlights are cool toned, rather than warm.

Are you going to be able to do the curls? I find this sort of thing doesn't look so good if you have poker straight hair that does nothing like me.
