Has anyone tried any Jones Road products? If so, how do you rate them?

I’m liking the look of Miracle Balm in particular.

[quote Mercurial123]I tried to find this review earlier. Personally I wouldn't buy the balm

Yeah, it's basically castor oil with a bit of colour! Those swatches look awful imo.

WhatScratch · 20/01/2022 23:11

This is my favourite packaging of late. It’s has had me itching to buy it even though I don’t really want or need the product

@WhatScratch That blusher is really good, it goes on easily, blends like a dream and the staying power is very decent for a cream product. However it isn’t as good as this one which is better in every way and is a fraction of the price! www.beautypie.com/products/supercheek-cream-blush-fresh-faced

WhatScratch · 21/01/2022 02:37

Honestly, it’s the packaging. I don’t even need another blusher Blush

WhatScratch · 21/01/2022 02:43

Now I’m looking at beautypie eyebrow gel and thinking that if it’s as good as the Hourglass stuff the money I save would make that blusher free Grin

Mercurial123 · 21/01/2022 03:52

I have the BP blusher agree it's really, really good.

Housewife2010 · 21/01/2022 06:55

I'm not that impressed with the Beauty Pie blusher. I much prefer the Milk Lip & Cheek stick which blends far better (useless on lips though).

I have Westman Atelier baby cheeks and it’s gorgeous. I also have a beauty pie cream blush and yes it’s good but you also have to pay for membership, the product itself plus delivery. So doesn’t actually make it cheaper - especially as it’s a min of 3 months membership l

This is very interesting.

Can you take me through the maths please?

I really like the looks of Westman Atelier's Baby Cheeks, but it's £ 44 on the website I would use plus £5 shipping.

BP is £8.60 plus shipping 3.30 and membership which is used for other product as well? Surely no one would join just for a blusher?

I think you’re right. I get my candles and all of my body products from BP. Quite a bit of my make up too and I order for my Mum when she sees something she likes.

The Westman Atelier stuff looks lovely and has really good reviews. I was going to get a set from there but went for Sisley sticks (blush and bronze) in the Space NK sale and they’re not very good at all.

Just found this old post while digging around for reviews. Has anyone used the Jones Road undereye pencils - the neutralizer and face pencils? Interested in your feedback if you have.

So..... you want them to put it in fancy packaging and charge an arm and leg? hmm surely it's the product that matters?

No,if they're going to use such basic packaging I feel of should be reflected in the price. The mark up on make up is huge.

I agree. Packaging shouldn’t matter, but it does. I don’t even care if it feels luxurious, but any colour other than black reminds me of the Constance Carroll-level stuff I used to buy when I was about 12, and it really puts me off. Especially if it’s white.
