In fact, do they do a mask for pizza chin/prune-like-upper-face-especially-around-the-eyes combo?

Dr Hauschka rejuvenating/revitalising whatever its called. Yello cream you leave on and it sinks in gives you a real glow

True it is v dear and too late for mumsnet reviews but if anyone wants it cheaper there is a German website (think its alegrianaturkosmetic.com or something)where you can get all Dr H much cheaper. The mask works out at 14£ ish from there. The bath oils are also particularly fabulous. Having said that will certainly be looking at this thread for cheaper alternatives. Neutrogena do a clay and saliyclic acid 2 in 1 wash mask but probably only for oily skin as quite drying

try this one

Now I usually have 2 on the go, a cheap and cheerful one and a fancier one and do one of each a week.

I second the Simple one as my cheapie. The advantage is that it only takes 3 minutes. Its great for when you know you should do one but don't have much time. It also doesn't cause much disruption to your face. Its easy to get off and so cheap you can easily use it twice a week.

I like the Eve Lom one for more serious moments. Smells fantastic and also feels good on. Quite thick and you have to scrub to get if off. I think you have to lie down for 20 mins or something which I'm sure adds to the beautifying effect.

The origins black clay one is just too messy. The Dr H ones are ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend them.

Does anyone remember the peel off facemasks of old? They were great, there was something brill about appearing to tear your own skin off. My mum used to buy me a strawberry scented one from Avon probably

Elizabeth Arden - Peel& Reveal - AMAZING - not cheap but my face looks like my son's cheeks (that is face cheeks and and bum bum cheeks !) afterwards.

it feels really fresh like cool water when you put it on, then dries within 10 minutes, you peel it off like rubber and it takes all the dead skin with it.

Dropdeadfred · 17/01/2008 11:21

yay! I must get some, thanks
