In need of protein and moisture treatments for dry curly hair

Hi all, my hair is seriously thirsty at the moment. It seems to like both protein and moisture. I'm using Alberto Balsam and the Aldi protein conditioner after shampooing (alternate washes) but they don't seem to be cutting it

Any recommendations for a protein treatment and a moisture treatment or intensive conditioner? Ideally something I can find on the high street rather than online. I'm not strict CG but I do avoid silicone. Thanks!

Garnier ultimate blends hair food is great for getting moisture into my curly hair (I use the coconut one) Supermarkets or Boots/Superdrug sell it. I use it as my regular conditioner when I wash my hair twice a week. It's lovely and thick so you don't need lots (unless you have tons of hair like me!)

I agree with the Garnier ultimate blends hair food mask, but I prefer the banana one. I think the Acai one has protein in, but couldnt swear to it.

Giovanni direct do a reconstructor it's a hair treatment you leave in for 10 minutes that I really rate too.

When you're doing a hair mask, put a shower cap on and wrap a towel around your head. The heat will help the products penetrate your hair shift more easily.

Curly hair is so temperamental!

Philip Kingsley elasticizer. It’s pricey but it’s a weekly treatment - you can leave it on for hours.

For everyday, the Garnier stuff above is great.

I use the Cantu range of products such are great on my hair. You can get them on amazon, or a bit more expensive in Superdrug.
