ooh, I got some heated rollers for Christmas

and have just tried them for the first time. A little fiddly but then I rushed it, but am really pleasantly surprised. My hair is so thin and straight but they actually added a lot of volume and wave.

v. pleased for you - nice to see a fellow user! not that i use them any more, but i used to use them ALL THE TIME - my hair is also v. v. straight and that was NOT fashionable in my teen/early twenties, and heated rollers were an absolute godsend to me to get some body, used in conjunction with a bit of hairspray. (With hindsight, just be careful of over use, they will dry your ends out like nobody's business, if you use them all the time).

which ones did you get? i got the babyliss ones and they are fab.

I got the Babyliss ones too, a present from my mum and dad.

Sadly though, Addicted, I do not look like you after using them . Am more than twice your age for a start!!!!

Do you mind if I ask what products you used? Have tried rollers in the past but my hair is straight again within a couple of hours.

charles worthington mousse in the yellow can and elnett hair spray.

oh also have used that l'oreal thermo spray stuff thats in a pink bottle.
