I need a loose, vest style, belly covering gym top

I want a loose vest type gym top that’s long enough to cover my tummy. I don’t know why I find it really hard to get! Most of the loose ones I see have that really low gape under the arms and I don’t want that as I’m busty and end up with half a boob hanging out Grin which isn’t a good look.

Has anyone found any that fits the bill? I don’t really want to pay more than £15/£20 for one. Maybe that’s why I’m finding it hard!

What I wear is long form-fitting vest-tops and then a loose vest/T over that - would that be any use for you OP? A loose vest-top on its own would feel too exposing to me.

I've just recently
Bought a Nike vest for running/brisk walking

It's exactly how you describe. Not baggy under the arms but loose enough to cover tummy and bum comfortably

I then wear a loose fitting cropped t shirt over the top so I'm not too layered up but don't feel
Exposed even though I go before 6 am and it's pitch black 🤦‍♀️

@WeeM
Sorry op didn't say but I think it was around £18 and from next brands

Following as this is exactly what I need!

The dri fit.

Think this model has a longer body than me because mine comes down slightly longer

And it's £13

I found this 2 in 1 type abit more disguising

They do patterned versions too here

and here

Simply Be do the sort of thing you’re after and you can size up in M and S ones too.

RaisinforBeing · 14/01/2022 20:40

H&M do these I’ve just bought some. If you are at the gym you’d need a sports bra anyway which tend to be sturdy / acceptable to be seen. The H&M ones are called Sports Vest tops.

anothername007 · 14/01/2022 20:46

Myprotein gym kit is really good value. I'd look there x

WeeM · 14/01/2022 21:21

Thanks all, I think that Nike one could be a winner-would be good if it came in black.

The Matalan active wear is great value but that one is too tight over the lower belly for me sadly, I need to hide the c section overhang 🙈.

Never thought of Simply Be or H and M so off to look there!

I don’t mind my sports bra showing so that’s ok, just can’t do the tops that hand really low under the arm as any ones I’ve got just show like half my boob from the front and it’s not a good look Grin. I keep buying them when they’re cheap and they sit in my wardrobe and I wear the same ancient ones I have Confused

The next one comes in black I believe.

Il also second the poster saying to try my protein clothing.

Ordered dd some sports leggins from there and they are better fitted and more comfortable then the gym shark ones we bought recently.

O and a lot cheaper.
Just ordered myself sports bra and leggins from there
