Have found in sale for £45, am tempted but not sure what it looks like, how long it is etc as the picture is just a black blob!

I need a new coat and have vouchers, can anyone fill me in?

Hard to see the style from that picture to be honest. But, an black velvet jacket is always a good thing to have in any wardrobe. I have two... a short nip-waisted 70s style one with rounded lapels and a long, skirted sort of highwayman one with bling buttons from Wallis. I find I get value and milage from them both.

Well that is quite reassuring! Thanks I guess I can always take it back if it's terrible!

You can always take it back... Im so chuffed with myself for going online at 12.30am on xmas day and getting the dress and sandals I wanted! :-) isnt internet sale shopping great.. saves all those queues, busy shops, having to trail poor son around.. etc

what your online basket? or your basket in the shop?! Some people in shops are terrible - practically fighting to get stuff off the hangers.. ugh I hate it.. in saying that im seriously thinking of going into town tomorrow.. there was a khaki silk blouse I wanted..

FlllightAttendant · 26/12/2007 10:37

Really? Can they do that, Cod?
I was thinking, in basket, nobody can steal it, but that is the downside if not - in real life you would just lamp the person who tried to nick it, wouldn't you, but you can't do that on the internet!

Well I would anyway..

the worst shop has got to be next. some women look like theyre possessed when they head in there...

FlllightAttendant · 26/12/2007 10:39

Well I would be glassy eyed if I had been camping in -3 all night.

hahahahaha dont you feel sorry sometimes for the poor husbands who are always dragged round the shops?

YumzieMumzieLaura · 26/12/2007 10:42

Ill tell you wots even worse. You go into the M&S lingerie department and they are there. They always seem to have a good look at what everyone else is buying!

FlllightAttendant · 26/12/2007 10:48

Yes they stand around trying to disappear into the hanging rails, so nobody thinks they are perverts.

I love shopping! But you cant shop properly when youve got a 7 year old son in tow.. who only wants to go into toy shops! I have to bribe him with a chocolate muffin or a look in woolies toy department..
