£70 John Lewis voucher - tell me what perfumes to try?

I’m going into town tomorrow and want to get some new/different perfume. I don’t mind adding to the £70 if I find something I love.

At the moment I’m working my way through Jo Malone velvet rose and oud, Poppy and barley and wild bluebell.

I like sweet (but not cloying ) scents with orange, bergamot, oud, lavender. The velvet rose and oud was a wildcard as I don’t usually like rose. I really like the jammy-ness of this though. I also love MJK baccarat rouge (tried just about every dupe without success). I love the candied, slightly burnt sugar notes. Absolutely can’t afford the real thing even with the £70 gift voucher.

Scents I don’t like - vanilla, musk, jasmine, violet, cherry, Tonka, blackberry, tobac.

Can anyone recommend anything to try in John Lewis tomorrow? Thanks you so much.

If you like Jo Malone and like orange scents the Orange Blossom is gorgeous. They do an Oud and Bergamot scent too.

Thanks Teadrinker. I’ll try the orange blossom . I’ve tried the oud & bergamot and i didn’t like how it smells on me - sort of like a traditional men’s aftershave.

John Lewis sell Floral Street fragrances - they are good value and well worth a sniff. They do sample sets.
