have a house full coming

want to look nice

choice is

1,black nice trousers ,nice black top and fab silver necklace, fab leopard print high heels from last yr.

2.wrap dress (makes me look slimmer) and new black boots.Am thinking it may be a bit ridiculous to be wearing boots .

Boots might be too hot in the house.

Wear something that makes you forget what you are wearing. Nothing worse than clothes you have to keep fiddling with.

I am wearing my new black dress from Wallis with a black vesy underneath as it is quite low cut.

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:14

ggirl dress and boots i thikn, what colour is it?

advise me too please.

  1. red dress which is terribly tight but very festive
  1. blue and purple dress not as tight bit longer but not as party-ish.

nb i have a toddler and the red is hand wash. but when else does one wear a red dress?

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:27

oh dear sorry I wasn't trying to be rude

I just think a wrap dress will look lovely, very Christmassy and chic

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:29

if red dress uncomfortably / embarrassingly tight then the other one, I would say

but if you just mean it is close fitting (however fits you well) then wear that one

ggirlsbells · 24/12/2007 18:29

well if you're at home how about both, start being festive and suck it all in,then blame toddler for messing it with sticky hands and nip up and change into comfy less festive number.

If not at home go for red I think.

ggirlsbells · 24/12/2007 18:30

mine is teal and black

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:32

I can't wear them because I have no waist, hips or tits

but I think they are beautiful, very feminine and flattering

sorry I wasn't being sarky, honest, but I do think 'nice black trousers' etc is a bit dull for Christmas day

ggirlsbells · 24/12/2007 18:33

even with boots

have shoes as well but don't really like them

OP posts:
ggirlsbells · 24/12/2007 18:33

must be moondog that abhors them then

well i won't be having any roast potatoes in the red one. not at home either. so purple. then red top and jeans on boxing day. i have lovely new navy boots which will look good with both.

gg i think teal and black with boots sounds really nice and more suitable than trousers and high heels. i shall be wearing boots too.

ggirlsbells · 24/12/2007 18:37

right

will fing doors and windows open if I'm hot

everyone else can freeze

thanks
