Please help! Which colour coat?!

I am buying a Didriksons Erika parka. I am aware that this is school mum territory and not a catwalk piece. But would like to maximize the style factor as much as poss! (if that is at all poss)

But do I go for the Rioja Red or the Deep Green? I've lost the ability to make the small decisions in life, please help Mumsnet!

I have dark hair, pale skin and I have "deep autumn" colouring. TIA

I think khaki looks quite cool (ie the vibe not the hue). I’d never associate a red Christmassy colour with being cool.

I prefer the khaki, and it’s a colour that goes with everything. I have a black didrikson and i love the coat but I don’t think black looks good with paler jeans - so I agree don’t get a black one!

I have your colouring and recently bought a green Didriksons. I wish it had been available in a red.
However the green /khaki is a better foil for a bright scarf, hat etc in a range of colours. So there are pros and cons for each colour. Great choice of coat BTW.

Not the red. Khaki, dark blue or black.

I know I giving you more, not less, options. But the red is not stylish.

I prefer the khaki - if it had been a bolder red I would have been torn

I have no idea how much they are but if where you are buying from has free returns and you can afford to buy both and when they arrive see which one you fancy and return the one you like the least

Green. Agree with others about Hayley from Coronation st- it’s just trying a bit too hard to be bright and cheery and fun, whereas the green is a bit cooler. Whenever I’ve gone for the brighter or “more interesting” option with something like that I’ve ended up regretting it.
