No 7 retinol night serum. Does it make you skin peel?

Only used a couple of times and my face feels so tight, despite moisturising night and day. Its also got some peeling around my mouth. Is this normal?

Yeah retinol often causes dry flakey skin, you can try buffering where you put a really plain moisturiser on the areas you are struggling with and then put retinol on top. I do this and also limit retinol to every other night. I also really limit anything else harsh like exfoliators and try to keep the rest of my skincare really simple…….and spf all day every day!!!
