Boots to wear with sports leggings

Just wondering what to wear with sports leggings.
I seem to live in sports leggings but when it is raining etc what should i wear to the supermarket. Trainers are not suitable in the rain.
The more I look the more i dont know what to wear.

I have these which work well with plain active leggings- I live in fabletics oasis 7/8 and they go with the teal, brown, green and black ones I have.

I have also been pondering this question- wondering if some lightweight snow boots like these might work:

I will often put on some woolly socks and then my DM's (so a tiny bit of sock pops over the top)

Iv never had Ugg’s before. £79.99 in the sale. I did it really quickly when they were in stock.
