Hairdressers advice plz/Salon job

Just wondering if any hairdressers can help advise please TIA

Backstory - been going to the same salon for almost 2 years now, transition from long dark roots & blonde highlights to full head platinum bleach.

Basically that last couple of times I've had my roots done I've noticed it's coming through rather yellow, I made my hair colourist aware of this the last time I visited ( I go every 6 weeks on the dot ) She advised that the toner would sort it which it does - for a couple of week until it washes out ) I'm then left with a much darker blonde at the top & it appears that it is much more noticeable now that my previous highlighted ends are moving further down in growth.

She did pull the bleach further through to my roots to lighten up the darker shade for a couple of minutes a couple of months ago but it's just not coming up the blonde I thought it would - I thought it would lighten much lighter with it being on scalp root bleach rather than the yellow tone.

I'm about to give her one last go to fix it before looking for another salon... just wanted to ask if it can be done or am I now just facing a future of yellow hair that needs constantly toning?

I've tried purple shampoo, that just makes my ends whiter hence making the yellow more noticeable.

Atm I've been using bleach London pearlescent shampoo & toner hence the light pink shade it is now.

I've made her aware that I love the icy whitish blonde that my ends are so she knows that that is the look I'm going for.

If anybody can please advise if it is possible to get my roots to match my ends?

I'd say it's not being lifted enough at the root , it needs to be very pale yellow before being toned. I'm not a hairdresser but I have natural light blonde hair and on occasion go ash/icy and my hairdresser friend advises this.

The roots are warmer on me so need more processing time , I'd say the bleach needs to be left on longer.

I'm sure someone professional will be along soon x

Thanks @lms2017

Yes that's what I thought. I feel like I have to keep telling her that the roots are too yellow when I feel that she should know that being an experienced hair colourist. She only ever leaves the bleach on for 20 mins under a just warm heater & she always has other clients booked in ( she gets told the next client has arrived whilst blow drying / straightening etc ) so I'm starting to wonder if she doesn't have time to leave the bleach in for longer than 20 mins.

Top salon city centre - I wasn't expecting to keep on at her regarding my yellow rootsConfused

Those photos aren't great though btw. My hair needs a wash, but you can see how golden the roots are to the ends.

Yes the bleach isnt being left on long enough! It's not cracking through the yellow undertone to get to the palest yellow before being toned. 20 mins isnt enough, and if shes mixing the bleach with a higher percentage/volume peroxide to try to make it process more quickly this can also cause the yellow tone. Sounds as if shes rushing the lightening process which is leaving yellow pigments still in your hair!
