whats the big deal with hair straightners?

am i missing something here?

why do people like their hair poker straight now?

are they just for the curly haired ladies/men? or could my hair benefit from being straightened??

I love my GHD straightners.

I wish they had been around when I was at high school, they would have saved me from 5 years worth of 'frizzy lizzy' comments

Definitely get GHD's if you want straighteners, they are worth it. I use them every day, it just makes my hair look sleek and shiny. Condition is fine, but I always use a heat defender spray (GHD or tresemme) and use Aussies 3 minute miracle conditioner once a week which is total ambrosia for the hair (ie brilliant!).
