I saw a woman wearing them today and I need them in my life. Should have asked her where they are from but I didn't want to intrude so I photographed her legs insteadBlush

Same! I’m so confused - they look like some scruffy old boots you’d dig out the back of the cupboard because you were taking the kids somewhere muddy. They also look quite dated to me. I can’t see the appeal, sorry OP! I must be missing something though as everyone else seems to like them.

I saw a similar pair on the office website, Kimmy boots in mocha. Could you substitute for them?

They are definitely nothing like Subaru or any other country boot such as a Rydale etc. The soles would be nothing like that and you'd never get a fiddly little buckle either. Unfortunately they look like a pretty generic but old/bit outdated boot so unlikely they are still made. I think trawling eBay is your only option. You might get something on blowfish or rocket dog similar as they don't change their styles much and sometimes still use that type of sole instead of the more fashionable chunky ones you mostly see now

@Riverhousepuppy thanks for suggesting the Kimmy boots. I will try to explain why my the boots are so desirable:

Beautiful leather that will only improve with age
No fussy details
Zips on both sides so the boots can be worn with them slightly undone
Exactly the right leg width for my calves
Tough and timeless

I love them.

Given your description I think. A pair of short country boots is what you're after (although that's not what these are) in terms of simplicity, hard wearing leather, comfort, fit etc In the absence of your boots here are some options with a quick search. I'm sure there are more ...

The first pair here, the quilted ones. I have and they are way nicer in real life than in the picture (I got them because of the price and practicality and was pleasantly surprised)

Gosh, you are all great!

The problem, @liveforsummer, is that the boots you've posted (and I know they are only examples) don't have the feminine edge/sense of effortless cool that my precious boots have.
