Flattering and nourishing nail strengthener

I'm pants at looking after my nails, but want to make more effort. I'm aware I won't do the maintenance required for colours (or at least not outside of special occasions), and don't really like the time/cost involved with gel.

Is there a flattering peach/pink colour, perhaps slightly translucent so not too obvious if it chips?

I have tried a couple in the past (I can't remember names unfortunately) but found they were either drying to the nail and/or peeled.

I don't mind paying a little more for something that lasts well. Thank you.

I like Acai Nail Elixir from Nailberry; it's breathable so doesn't tend to chip. Their polishes are lovely too Smile

Just ordered it, found it for £15. Thank you.

I like Nail Envy, you can get it in clear or colours. I thunk its cheaper online than in shops

Another vote for Nailberry Acai Elixir, I've had excellent results with it.

I hope you like the Nailberry one, that's what I use too!

I'll let you all know how I get on.

I have read that buffing nails isn't great for them, does anyone know about that?

I don't push cuticles back or anything- I'm not sure I see the point! Nobody looks at nails that closely, and from what I can gather, they are there to protect against infections in the nail bed.
