Dyson air wrap v hairdryer

I hinted to hubby I wanted the air wrap. He got me the hairdryer by accident. My hair is just past my shoulders, I have lots of hair but it's thin. I don't normally have the confidence fo curl my hair but I wondered if the air wrap would curl under/crests bounce at the bottom as i fee like my hair looks witchy as I get older with it being dark and straight.

Would I benefit from swapping the hair dryer for the wrap or should I stick with the hair dryer and use straighteners. I feel I don't have confidence to curl my hair, not even sure it suits me but only really used straighteners. I like the idea of the bounce the wrap gives but I feel I may feel Unconfident with curls. I just really want to try it.

The hairdryer seems very expensive but then I feel the wrap attachments may not get used much as it looks fussy and I'm a little busy working mum who might just end up using my cheaper hairdryer and straighteners.

I have had both. The Airwrap is just as good as a hairdryer but does much more.

I've had the hairdryer for a few years and loved it right from the beginning. I really wanted to love the Airwrap but it wrecked my hair so I returned it. As you wrap your hair around the barrels from the bottom up the bottom gets much more heat.
