How do you stop your eyeshadow from creasing?

I'm wearing Bobbie Brown, but it still creases. Do I really need to invest in the blumming primer stuff too? Does it work or is it a con?

I find ironing my eyelids helps

Put translucent powder on lids before applying.

will try foundation/powder. am not experienced in these areas, am a bit crap at all the grooming malarkey!
