Hush Cicley green sequin skirt - what to wear with??

What would you wear with this - not the polo neck jumper on the website which would make me melt…! I need this in my life but stuck for what to wear on the top (other than plain boring black..)

I wear mine with a cream sweatshirt.

Black could look lovely though - either a cashmere roll neck, a tight boat neck top with 3/4 sleeves, or a black silk shirt, tucked in.

Other shades of green might work, too. Sometimes matching two shades of the same “colour” can look really lovely.

@GiveYourHead yes I suppose black - just don't find it particularly flattering against my face now I'm older .

Love the idea of alternate green - it's just finding something. Running out of time!

I have it but also bought the sage green jumper to wear with it. I have worn it with a white polo neck too.

Cream chunky ankle boots or cream leather high top converse boots.
I also wear it with a Hush a bit thicker than a T shirt top with slight puff sleeves and black suede ankle boots with a chunky heel.

You could wear with a denim shirt.
Personally I'd wear with a black or darker green satin blouse or a fine knit roll neck that was more fitted than oversized - cream, green or black.

I’m about to send mine back as it’s too loose on the waist .. gutted as the next size down is out of stock.. again!

I like the cream idea . What about a square neck ribbed 3/4 sleeve that would balance it out a bit without the need for a jumper indoors . I also get too warm for my jumpers. That feeling when you’re at work or a social event and you can’t take your jumper off because you’ve got a cami underneath so you just sweat and bear it ..

@Style like that idea - but where do I find it?? That’s the problem. And I know that feeling - love the look of the olive jumper but I just know it will leave me a sweltering mess

Try a ballerina style wrap top with or without camisole underneath. More flattering for big boobs.

@Phwooooar I have a similar sequin skirt (not Hush and not green) and here is what I wear mine with. I also have a black satin bodysuit I've worn with it. I know you want to avoid black but you could do similar in a darker or lighter green or maybe cream?
Agree with the idea of a tank top that was suggested on the Parisienne thread, you could really make that work.

I'm waiting of delivery of the hush black and silver skirt, I expect i will wear a black top with it.

You could try an olive green shirt, or maybe a silver cami? Possibly a mint green sweatshirt.

M&S have a khaki sweatshirt with a sparkly star on it at the moment, you could try that.

@Greenhillfaraway - that’s a good idea. I’ll look for these in new year for next year. Good tip to get at a good price is find one at a ballet/dance wear shop.

Cream drapey loose T shirt/blouse kind of thing is what I would wear it with.

I've just order this and hope it fits okay, the reviews are mixed, so keeping everything crossed.

I've ordered some soft, pale grey jumpers to try with it and will wear black high heeled ankle boots.

It's look like it has a grey/silver tone to it and I would have loved to have found time to search for a eucalyptus colour satin shirt to tone but I'm planning on wearing it for Xmas day if all goes well!!

Failing that I'll be in my black french connection blazer dress!
